I have a 1999 Chevy Tracker that was handed down to me. The body is killed and the frame is really rusty. But it still has a pretty strong motor and Trans. It also has a rear main seal leak. It leaks pretty good. So I bought and added a bottle of White Shepherd Rear Main Seal stop leak. Guess what.....It actually worked. After a couple hundred miles the leak gradually slowed, then stopped completely. I don't expect it to last forever, but my driveway thanks me.
I plan on running this car till it breaks in two. Which may not be long considering all the rust. The 4wd works great, and the AC is cold. The heat is like a Saab Sauna too. But its horrific to look at.
There is something liberating about driving a 150k mile beater.
