Which tire protectant?

I use the good old standard Armor All on the tires. First, I do a lot of off-roading, so they get dirt stains that won't just wash off. The Armor All Tire cleaner/shine cleans them up nicely and leaves a nice natural shine that isn't too glossy or greasy looking. It's also cheaper than a lot of them.

Just my 2 cents.

Just tried this. It’s standing up well but goodness, I put the minimal amount on to cover and get in all the cracks and then it slung for 3 days. Khaki pants go black right now as I step out of the truck. Whats the secret to application?
For me and with ANY tire dressing I think the secret is ... less is more.

I'm 56 years old. Other than washing the car, I have never put anthing on my tires. Grew up in San Antonio, TX and lived in Georgia for a while, also in Connecticut for a while and now the Carolinas. Never saw a need for any of it? I guess YMMV.

:)

Not interesting in tire dressing, per say, but in tire protectant. Is 303 still the best option? Anything better? I drive my 2011 about once a week and put less than 2000 miles on it last year. Tires will DEFINITELY age out before wearing out but I wouldn't mind buying some time if possible.
I use Soft99 started using in when I was over seas in Japan. It doesn’t turn your tires brown. It keeps your tires looking like you just bought them.

If that looks like the video in real life, that's the perfect amount of "shine" IMO. I'm not wanting a ton of gloss as inevitably that stuff gets slung off onto my paint (no thanks). I'll keep an eye out for this stuff for next purchase of tire dressing.

It doesn’t turn your tires brown either. You can buy it on amazon

I'm using Leno's Tire dressing. Matt to Semi shine. I sponge apply it after a wash. I just got two bottles of Chemical Guys VRP given to me, so I'll be trying that. The spray foam products I've heard mentioned here are way too messy for me. The Leno doesn't attract much dust relative to others and good out here in the desert where dust is constant

I don't use many Chemical Guy products but VRP is one that I have used. It's not bad and a little goes a long way. Use as little as you can to get the desired result. x
