Which oil should I analyze?

Why don't we all chip in and get our heads analyzed so we can find out why we come here on a daily basis?

Patman makes a good point as usual.

Pablo, my vote is the VOA. We can already have a glimpse as to what the UOA is going to look like with this pre-existing UOA:

With the new Dominator series, there are three viscosities, and one additive package. So by doing the one VOA will automatically know what the two other grades should look like. It would be like a three-in-one VOA, such a great value.

Plus, I’m dieing to know what’s in the Dominator...

Wouldn't hurt!

OK sample is in the can. I must say, sampling burning hot oil is just not that much fun anymore. Goes out tomorrow.

The racing 5W-20 is red.

Can't wait.

Hey - I need to get a kit to analyze the Amsoil in my Harley - got over 5k on it.....

Could this be an end to my sleepless nights? Laying awake and wondering what Amsoil has been up to with its latest formulation.

You're a life saver Pablo, LOL.

Buster,

I'm guessing no MoDTC or borate ester... Lots of ZDDP (like the M1, racing oil) and a moderate (2000 ppm?) of Calcium detergent.

Same FM as the 0w-20/0w-30 oils...
