Which oil for mower & generator? Should I fog?

Since the advent of ethanol gas, I may add Sta-Bil but haven't fogged any OPE in like 45 years of ownership, never a issue... At most I may turn engine till it's coming up on compression stroke so both valves will be closed and that's it... If I owned a twin, maybe I'd think about it...

You don't need to fog briggs engines. They're all aluminum. I have a briggs taken apart that's been in a shed for 5 years, not a spec of rust.
 
Alright guys. I'll just get some Ethanol free fuel and throw stabil in it, run it, drain and call it good.
