Im due for a oil change and just wondering what oil should I use
Ive been running PYB in my car. But its the trucks time It is a 1998 Chevy S10 2.2L 4cyl should I just used PYB or maybe try Pennzoil ultra does my truck really need anything more than yellow bottle havoline DS or castrol gtx

Mostly stop and go driving with two 15 mile hwy trips a day I run it hard somtimes and my OCI or 3-5K miles I usally run wix purolator or AC delco filters It has 98K miles on it
I run 5w30 also

No not really I like to get under it and poke around. I gotta grease the fittings anyway why not do it then

My dad had a 1997 5spd S10 with the same 2.2L engine. He ran it 160k miles on cheap dino (mainly wolf's head) and it still ran like a top before it was totaled in an accident.

Those 2.2L are bulletproof. I'd use PYB like you've been doing and change every 5,000 miles.

I agree, and maybe spend the money you save on a grammar book

It really bothers me. I may not be perfect, but when someone makes spelling or grammar errors, it stands out in my head. I'm only 21 years old, yet I still can't stand the way words are shortened in text messages. It makes people appear illiterate. I guess I'll have to deal with this pet peeve my entire life. I can thank my mom for that one.

Well, back in the day, and I mean way back in the day they use to teach cursive writing. Today kids in school don't know what cursive writing is. That bothers me.

Wow! I must have been in a decent school. I usually write in cursive and I remember learning how in second grade.

THANK YOU!!! I HEAR YA!!!!

I generally consider todays generation 'illiterate' when comapared to past generations.

They don't teach 'quality' penmanship like they used to......

In the 2nd grade, my teacher called my cursive writing "chicken scratch" in front of the whole class. I just learned cursive when this happened. I don't feel too bad that it's gone.
