Based on the following limied info below, which appears to be best, #1 or #2 or too close to call?

I think it was stated that 2.6 is the minimum HTHS to avoid excessive wear. In that case, I'd go with the higher HTHS even though it is not much higher. Don't need the cold properties of Oil 1 in TX anyway.

Oil #2 is Castrol Syntec 5W-20?

If so, Castrol throws a bit of a curve with the 55.8 number as it is not 40C centistokes, but rather 55.8 SUS @ 201F.
