Which is the best oil from this table, ? Data sheet VI, KV

I have had to scrap the frost off the seat (about 20F) and my boxers have started just fine with the 20W50 Mobil and 20W50 castorol syn blend. I am not planning to ride much below that. Man I hate sitting on a frosty seat. I do not believe in long warm up. 30 to 60 seconds is plenty. I have ran over 100K on several. And I hate 100F (38C) and above even more.

How old is that comparison graph? I don't believe the Mobil 1 4T 10w40 has had that level of ZDDP in some time.

Thanks for pointing that out... the graph is current as of Oct. 2019...

Would a 40 blended at the low end of 40 be too thin? Would a 40 blended at the top end of 40 be too thick ? Would a 5W-40 protect less that a 20w-40 all things equal due to the shear between the parts with the higher VI number and the higher amounts of viscosity improvers needed to get the wider viscosity range?

Of the 40 grades listed the difference between the low to the high end is only 2.7cSt in gravity flow...

API grades oil on gravity flow in cSt... API grades are not a
measurement of an oils actual physical thickness... its really the
rate oil flows measured by a stop watch... blink and you might miss
the difference between 2.7 in flow...

That is not current as of Oct 2019 respect to the Mobil oils.

10w40 4T is 1300/1200 ppm zinc/phos by Mobil info guide, Oct 2019. 10w40 High mileage is 900/800 by the same guide, Oct 2019.

According to Mobil 1 it is current...
You are not showing the Mobil data, you are showing analysis of oils that do not exist anymore with those additive concentrations.

To me, what you are saying is you tested all three of those oils in October 2019 when you show an analysis chart with that explanation. It is not current, zinc and phosphorus are nowhere near the numbers in the chart you are showing relative to what Mobil shows.

Here is the screenshot of your post from August 2019 showing the same Amsoil 10w40 and 10W-40 car oil analysis. I don't understand how the M1 datasheet can be confused or correlated with analysis that are probably a decade-old.

stick with 15w50. You don’t need a 10w since you are in a warm/ hot climate.
also check out petronas from next door.
if you can get motul or Mosul in 15/50 full synthetic, they would be my first choice.
pay attention to labelling some may say: synthetic technology or based ... all of which would be semi synthetic
