Which In-line Fuel Filter for Gravity Feed?

The filter I use for my craftsman yts 3000 mower is actually labeled for use with a fuel pump but it works just fine with the gravity feed system. Its a 40 micron briggs 691035.

There's not a lot of head height between tank and carb bowl on LCT engines. Adding fuel line or too restrictive a filter is going to starve the carb of fuel.

Reminds me of Kohler Commands with the vac-pulse fuel pump. Used to have lots of issues when certain aftermarket fuel filters were used. The pump couldn't push enough fuel through them.
