Hi,
I posted this in the small engine, but it is more of a 'rear end' question.
We have an ariens riding mower. Bought new in 86, and I just replaced the engine after many hours of hard use.
It now is running great and going along just fine. Problem is, I want to make sure that everything is lubed up fine.
The 'drive unit'/differential has no fill/drain plugs. It has a zerk fittng on it to put grease in.
What grease shoudl I use in a differential, and how much should I put in? Until it squeezes out the seals slightly?
Thanks,
JMH
