But yes, this Forum is perfect for the OCD afflicted. As stated by dave1251, Ford has tested for this and there is no rash of failures reported now that a great number of these has achieved high Mileage status.
 
The only thing I might change in my routine is the FL500S for a XG10575 , that really looks like a tangible improvement

I understand that but Ford wants 5w30 in my engine so they must have a good reason for that , my understanding is that they want the w30 to be there all the time not only when freshly poured in the engine :-)


And I'm sure they took some shearing into consideration given you stay within the UOM. Get some D1G2, SN+ full synthetic 5w30 and sleep well.
