Well, it appears that the only 0w-20's I can find in my area are Valvoline Synpower and the Mobil 1 green bottle stuff. Which one do you guys think is better? I'm trying the new Pennzoil Ultra 5w-20 this go around, but come next winter, i wanna try a 0w-20.

I doubt your car will notice a difference between Pennzoil Ultra 5W-20 and some 0W-20 Motor Oil, if ya don't believe me just ask Gary Allan or Johnny The Pennzoil Guy.

i like both. 
I am going to be switching my Jeep JK to 0w20 as well. My 4 runner ruequires it and the consolidation to one oil type between the two makes sense. Currently I am also looking around at Valvoline Synpower,Mobil 1, Pennzoil Platinum and whatever may be easily available at the best deal..

I really just wanna experiment with it this winter cause these engines have so many lifter rattle issues at start up. A majority of them have problems with the ADBV's not working right on most filters made to fit them, but its rumored that chrysler has found that some of the blocks had the oil passages to the lifters made to big. I don't know if this is causing the lifters to bleed down faster or what. Anyways, I had the lifter rattle at start up for a second or so at start up this winter, no matter what brand filter I used, but once the weather got a little warmer, it went away, then when we would get a cold spell again, it would come back. I don't think its gonna hurt anything, I just wanted to experiment and see if I could eliminate it.
I'd go with the Toyota 0w20 in the red bottle. Or wait for the VOA for the Toyota 0W20 in the black bottle to be posted. There should be one posted shortly.
I'm hoping it is the same formula as the Red bottle Toyota 0W20. I have a feeling that since Mobil is now making it for Toyota it will be very similar to Mobil 1 0W20.

I'd get Mobil 1 0w-20. It's easily available and fairly inexpensive.
