I never said I liked Bernie & Mosley... But I do like the sport and IMO it's what racing truly should be. 13K RPM and speeds over 300KPH (almost 200MPH) with varying tracks, fuel, tire, weight, design restrictions. It all comes down to the driver IMO.
It also demands full attention as so many things happen on the tracks and its critical timing that can win/loose a race.
Sorry but I'm not a beer drinkin' guy who watches cars go in circles for hours to see some fire or a death simply so I have an excuse to be with friends and have conversation.
Then they "Sell out" the name Nascar and stick it on every product from here to Idaho (no offense Idaho-ians) and make people think that the Battery or the Oil they purchased which is the "official choice of Nascar" is somehow of superior quality.
You see these, IMO, Hillbillies driving around with Nascar parts thinking they are doing right by their vehicles when the truth is they are only doing right by the marketing companies that plaster "Nascar" all over khrap.
Like a beer drinkin' cult if you ask me...
Oh and don't even get me started on Dale Earnhardt stickers on the backs of cars.
I mean so he was a great "Circle" driver who lost his life... GET OVER IT! I'm sure they can find another great "Circle" driver to replace him.
Heck put some Women on the track they seem to be good at going in circles most times. My mom would be the first one that could probably replace Dale E.
You don't see people putting stickers on their cars when people die or get seriously injured in crashes in Formula 1 and they have way better spectacular crashes than "Circle" drivers.
Again... To each their own I guess, Nascar and their "Sell Out"-edness make me sick.
