I figure Menards carries it, but that isn't a local store in my part of the country. Would it be fair to assume that anyone who carries Quaker State can get it? None of my local stores keep it in stock.

Look at any farm and home stores if there is any around.
I have. None of them carry Quaker State.
I suppose auto parts stores could order it or use amazon. Probably not going to find any deals if you have to order it.
Or maybe order it on walmarts website and have it shipped to a store.
I wonder if Kmart would do that. They carry GB and Defy, but I doubt they'd honor the price drop price of 2.70/qt. if I ordered it during that time.

Why does it have to be Quaker State Conventional? Rotella, Delo, and Pennzoil are almost everywhere. I'm not even including store brands from places you already visited.
I like Quaker State. I'm well aware of the other straight 30's, and Delo would be my second choice.
I haven't seen it around here in a long time. I do see the Castrol HD 30 pretty much everywhere.
I see a lot of Castrol here. Nothing against it, I just prefer the big Q.
O Reilly's carries it around here...only quarts, though. Don't know about your area. Sure they could order it for you.
I need to check my O'Reilly's. They are bending over backwards to get parts for the shop I work at.
QS Defy 10w30 would be a good replacement for Quaker State Conventional 30HD
I think I bought my last quart at my local Wallmarts.

Yes that is it. Agreed that it shouldn't be that much. If I ever run out of my leftover oil mix for the mowers I service, I'll likely just use Quaker State Conventional 5w30. I'll end up using it for everything I service, including 3 Craftsman YTS3000's, one old Murray push mower, 5 cars, and two pickups. It's cheap, durable to summer heat, easy to start with in the winter, and it's a pretty orange/gold color.
I just saw it at Walmart a few days ago.
