Is this stuff only on the internet? I've only looked at Walmart and of course, they don't have it.

Thanks. I haven't had time to stop by either Autozone or Parts America. Glad I don't have to order it off of the internet.

My True Value guy ordered it for me. No stores near me had it let alone knew what it was. I had it within 48 hours. Good stuff!

I got mine at a True Value. The old timer running the store said they didn't carry that one, but he walked me over to show me what they did have. There we found a bottle of Rejex, covered in dust. I guess they don't sell much of it.

Actually it is quite good. Just make sure you are not applying over wax or any other coating. .

It won't last as long or protect as well according to the company. Best bet is use something to strip existing wax then apply it.

I'll wash the car real good with some dish soap, heard that stuff will strip off the wax. Now, I just got to find this stuff.

THANKS!!!! I actually called the local True Value place and they said they had none. I gave them the item number, they looked it up and it worked. They ordered two bottles for me and will have it in next week. SWEET!!! I had looked to buy it on line, but every where I looked, they wanted between 8 and 12 dollars just for shipping.

Another quick question on stripping off the old wax or prepping for the Reject stuff..... do I get a bucket of super sudsy soap using a dish washing detergent like Dawn, or just a little bit? I seem to recall that someone said use about a tablespoon or so per gallon, which just doesn't "fill" right. Should I also clay bar the car also? The finishes aren't exactly "glass" smooth, but they are not that bad either.

For a one-time, pre detail wash, any good dishwashing detergent is fine if you do not have any car wash shampoo. No need to buy a specific brand, but Dawn does have a rep for cutting grease and oil, which is why its name always seem to be used.

Claying is always a good idea before polishing and waxing. Anything you can do to improve the surface quality will make a difference in the final results.

Thanks. Got my work cut out for me if I can ever get done with doing sound mixing at the church for all of these spring weddings....that require rehearsal on Friday nights and then weddings around 1 -3 on Saturday. Kind of shoots the weekend in the butt. I guess spring is a popular time to get fooled...ehhhhh...married.....ha ha ha

Having used both, here are some of my observations. Collinite 476 looks better on deep colors, like midnight blue, and black. Rejex works better on silver than Collinite did. Rejex makes water bead off the surface better. Rejex absolutely sucked on my polished chrome center caps, they quickly flash rusted with Rejex on them. Rejex is much easier to remove than Collinite. Just my opinions and observations.

As a side note the center caps that flash rusted were new, and could have been a poor grade of polished chrome. On my Jeep's chrome wheels Rejex is doing well, and brake dust comes off very easy.
