I was buying this oil at a local discount store, but it seems like they won't stock it anymore. All they have now is the 76 synthetic blend. I really liked this oil but I can't seem to find it anywhere other than the internet for around $5-6 a quart. Does anyone know of an oil distributor that I can buy it here from in So Cal?

Sounds like you're talking about the 99 Cents Only stores - That's where I bought my Kendall GT1 oil, when they still stocked it on the shelves. Like you, all they seem to carry now is the 76 stuff.

Honestly though, the 76 stuff is good oil. Any reason you're set on the Kendall oil?

Thanks! I will check them out!

Yeah, I thought so too. Wish I'd had the forethought to buy more while they still had it.

Honestly, I liked using conventional. I even used Supertech Conventional in my Honda which fan great for 100k miles till I sold it. However, this particular vehicle that I now own was mistreated pretty badly with some oil sludge and the synthetic stuff really worked to clean it out. I had some minor piston slap that was audible even when fully warmed up and the Kendall seemed to quiet it down a lot. Also noticed that it doesn't get as dirty faster than other synthetics that I've tried.

Looks like Trimen Sales only sells tires and AP Fischer stopped stocking Kendall. Anyone know of any other places?
