I already bought the PCV valve for my '02 Nissan Frontier with the 2.4L, but I can't find it on the engine. Anybody know for sure? It's a straight/inline valve, not bend or angled. I've looked under, around, and behind the breather, throttle body, valve covers, etc.

Help!

I would go to PepBoys or any other auto parts store that carry Chiltons or Haynes repair manuals. You dont have to buy it, just take a peek inside.

That is how I found out where the PCV valve on my wifes Honda. I would have never of found it without the Chiltons photo of where its located.

The following applies to a 1997 Frontier, so I don't know if it will apply to you, but here goes:

On the Frontier four cylinder engines, the pcv valve is mounted in a grommet on the breather seperator (located on the lower timing chain cover on the right side of the engine, below the power steering pump). You have to disconnect the hose to even see it.

Good luck.

I’m having the same problem with my 1998 Frontier. I even have the Haynes repair manual. The illustrations and the descriptions do not help.
Your description is better that the repair manual description.

It might also help if you remove the right front wheel, & try to access the pcv from the wheel well area.

I'm lucky on my Nissan 1.8. It's the hose going into the valve cover behind the far left coil pack.
