Castrol Deutchland always refered to Hamburg. May be it's just a legal address and blending is made somewhere else. BTW, Veedol Works was also located in Hamburg. If I am not mistaken, in the past Castrol did not have its own facilities and had to order blending at other manufacturers. So, why not at Veedol that became later a part of BP ? To tell the truth, now I would also accept (but not in 1994 when I was said about it) that one of Castrol oils was blended at Esso, Hamburg.
