Well I hang out alot around car modder sites Fast Mustangs Ford Focus, DSM talk etc.. people who like to tinker with their cars and make them go faster, one thing I noticed is topics such as "well she ran for 80k miles really strong doing a rebuild" "102k miles on the clock need a rebuild" While on this website people look at you funny when you cant squeeze 200k out of your car and tranny. I wanted to modify my car's too but I guess I grew up and got lazy and cheap

Im 22 BTW. And yes I will probably make a performance car once I get a good payceck a house with a garage.

Different wants and needs. You mod, you accept the fact that you may shorten the life of your engine. As odd as it sounds, I use synthetic because I am frugal, but also like to do some mods and beat the snot out of my engines.

I thought my 92 Grand Am with the HO quad 4 and 5 speed came pretty close to all 3. Do not confuse it with the V-6 versions.

Are all those mod guys running Frams? No wonder.
