Winston, If a pilot can balance the power,fuel flow,rpm and egt on multiple engine, watch his navagitional aids, keep track of fuel and ballance issues, look out side of cockpit for collision avoidence and navagation and do a many more things at the same time how hard is it to check a cars instrement cluster every couple of seconds? It does not take more then a 1/2 second to gaze at the cluster. An idiot light is usualy a bright red or orange color it does not get much easier then that! I would love to know how it is that people can drive 20+miles on the highway with their blinker going and not know it? Obviously their instruments are just their for entertainment value! At some point people have to operate their vechiles in a responceable manner!Driveing should be done in a very engageing thought involved manner not a vegatative state that most people drive around in!
GM vechiles have a low oil warning system on many vechile but seeing how it does not bite people in the azz or backhand them in the face many people still seem to miss that it is lit up like a christmas tree!
