The GOOD stuff, with Phosphates still. I see it on Amazon for $155/case, thats over $25/box - way too much. Anywhere else to get it, reasonably priced?? I don't need 6 [censored] huge boxes obviously, but it might be nice to stock up on a couple, since it's not exactly easy to find.

I bought a 6-pack last year from either ebay or Amazon. I wonder if the supply has dried up. It was much less expensive at the time. My water is extremely hard and the stuff you can get at the stores now doesn't cut it, even with Lemi Shine or other rinse aids.

Preferably, yes. Is there another industrial version that still uses the phosphates??

I'll look into it. I'm just about to get a new dishwasher soon (don't have one at all currently, last rental house had one though), and I don't wanna deal with a cleaner that isn't going to work.

Add your own phosphates!

TSP is sold at hardware stores all over, in granules and liquid. I add a bit to my laundry detergent and dishwasher. Works great!

Look at the hardware store, in the paint department.

Trisodium Phosphate....

Add 1/2 tablespoon (just under a spoonful ) to your dishwasher before running...

Ya, I've read about that too, but I've read a lot of revies that it's just not the same, which makes sense if the detergent formula isn't designed around the phosphates. But, that may be the direction I'll have to go. It's cheap enough.

X1000!!

These this is the best detergent I've ever used. I have really hard water and there is never a spot on the dishes and it takes off food debris over a week old. Blows cascade out of the water...

Ha! Thats an article I read, lol. FWIW, I DO have 1 box of Cascade with Phosphates, that I purchased on ebay for (ugh) $25 to clean out the cooling system of my Vortec 350. I wanted to keep that around, but now that I know you can purchase TSP separately on it's own, I'll probably just buy a package of that to keep in the garage for such purposes, and investigate this Bubble Bandit more.

I bought 6 boxes here with free shipping:

ReStockit Cascade

I saw that too, but am I relegated to HAVING to buy it in a case of 6? Anybody local and wanna go halvsies??? lol

FYI, from what I can find out they have now removed the phosphates from the food service Cascade. I used to buy it from Restaurant Depot, and the latest shipment from them is phosphate free. A few Internet articles/references seems to reinforce that it is the case. It is still restaurant/food service Cascade but has been reformulated. If you are still seeing it for sale with phosphates then buy it while you can.

Adding a 1/4 teaspoon of real TSP seems to work the same for me. Just make sure you are buying TSP and not TSP substitute.

Hmm. Maybe I should compare a box of the 'new' resturant quality phosphate free stuff to the old school stuff while we can still get the old-school stuff, since I do have 1 box of the old school stuff? And if the new stuff still isn't up to par, then I could have reasoning to do something else.....

Try Finish All In 1 Powerball Tabs. I put everything in the dishwasher and they never fail. Make sure you have it set as hot as possible.

This........

I went to Finish Power tabs 3 or 4 years ago. They're available at Sams's Club for quite a bit less than in the grocery store and Sam's occasionally even has them on sale. They're less expensive than Cascade and imho they work better.

If you think those are good, try the finish quantums.

Powerball works great already, don't need to improve on perfect results. I usually stock up on them at $0.10 a tab.

I just use two cups of straight TSP now. Works great
