Sorry to tell ya, but AFAIK, Esso is not sold anywhere in the US (it's Exxon here). If you want some, you will need to take a drive, or find someone there that will ship it to you.
I thought Wal Mart in the US carries the Esso XD3, 0W40, full synthetic but not the 0W30 full synthetic.
I just bought 12 litres of OW30 at the above mentioned price of Cdn$4.28/litre plus tax and will be using it in about 3,000 miles after my AutoRX clean and rinse are completed.
I had to go to the states for Mobil oil filters (can't get them in Canada)so you yanks have to come here for the XD-3.I'm using Baldwin & Napa Gold oil filters now so my trip tp the states is not needed anymore
To Brianpavlovic: Esso sold out here in Connecticut in **'s Warehouse. You may not have one where you are. Esso sold in around 10 states which are listed right on the bottles. If you search on Essor online you can find that information.
I saw some in Jersey a while back, can't remember where, but I thought it was pretty cool to have something that still says Esso. I thought all their holdings still said Exxon, but now I realize it was probably Canadian.
Now that I think about it it was at a Hess station of all places ! They had 3 or 4 quarts of a weight I usually don't run, plus a couple of 5w30 Amoco's.
