Just wondering if anyone knows when they usually start selling winter gas here in Ontario Canada when we get close to winter time? I either never noticed before or don't remember when the switch is, but after some things I've read I'd like to try to park my summer car with a tank full of regular gas preferably without ethanol.

I drive my car as far into the colder weather as I can before we get a snowfall and they have to salt the roads. I will fill the car up and add stabilizer before parking it (outdoors) for the winter. If I have to I may fill a couple jugs of gas earlier in the season to put in the car before parking it if it's already going to be running winter gas. Probably 91 octane as well so by spring time it will still have a decent octane level.

I don't think anyone even sells 87 octane gas right now that doesn't have ethanol in it, even in their summer blends. The only gas I know of around here for sure that has no ethanol in it is Shell's V-Power premium.
