I have tried alot of wheel cleaners and still had to scrub the brake dust off with a brillo pad or abrasive. I tried this stuff today and its the BOMB. It is called F21 foaming wheel cleaner by Turtle wax. It says Nano-tech formula with no acids. Iam telling you I just sprayed it on, and brushed it with a toliet cleaner brush "lightly", hosed it off and they looked like new. I am a hard customer to please, but this stuff is Great and its not alot of money. I think I got this at Walmart. This stuff rocks, I used to hate cleaning the wheels, this is good stuff.

Glad to hear something that works. I've found a lot of wheel cleaners "hit and miss" - it all depends on how often you clean them, and what kind of dirt you are getting into; lots of variables.

Usually mine come clean with regular car wash soap, but if I wait the full month before washing them, then I gotta give them a little 2 minute soap with this trigger cleaner I got from the Dollar Tree; lol, I was surprised it worked pretty good for only being $1+tax :) Spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two, then spray off, and the dirt is usually gone (again, all depends what I've gotten into, how long it's been since the last wash, etc....).

I'm tempted to try one of those products that claim to "resist brake dust and dirt", I think Armor All makes one...but dunno, the wheels are one of the signs that tells me it's time for a wash :) When they get dirty, I do the whole car at the same time; whether it needs it or not.

Do what I do, after getting your wheels very clean WAX them with collinite wax. After the waxing, when the wheels become dirty again just spray with plain old water and it will get your wheels back to their originl clean with little to no work. HIGHLY recommend doing it this way :)

Well the TW F21 wheel & tire cleaner is the one TW product I didn't like. Never seemed to work very well for me. IMHO Mother FX Wheel & Tire cleaner works better.

What also works well is the TW Ice wheel/tire cleaner if you can find it. Comes with a handy brush as well.

One thing that will make it easier in the future is to apply some spray wax to the wheel surface. Also applying a little tire dressing makes the wheels look that much nicer.
