I've got a Civic and when I turn sharper to the right (and more so with speed), a sound comes from the driver's side front wheel area. It's not necessarily a "growl" that would normally be associated with a wheel bearing but I could see it developing into that. It seems to have gotten worse over time...ie it takes less of a sharp turn to make the same noise it did one month ago.

If I said that this same wheel had a new bearing put in 7K miles ago would that change your diagnosis in any way? Thanks.

Check to see if your wheel liner is rubbing on the tires, I thought mine was bad too. it also produced the same noise you are talking about.

What brand is the 7k replacement bearing? Did you torque it to spec?

No idea, it was done by a shop.
