I am currently using Torco SR-1 5w20 in my 2001 honda civic. I've heard it is good oil. I have also heard that it does not retain its tbn very long. How long are you running with this oil and how long do you think it is good for. I will be doing a uoa but I would like a reference point to start from.

I ran the SR5 stuff in my Jeep. The TBN was 0.9 @4k. Maybe the SR1 is a better street oil?
The SR-5 is marketed as their "Racing" oil; the SR-1 is their "Street" oil.
I'm running SR-1 10w30 in my wife's Xterra. I'm going to get a UOA at 4 or 5k - it only has a 3.5 quart sump, and a filter the size of a baby food jar.
The 5w20 has even MORE moly than the 10w30!
