What's your favorite salad dressing?

Hard to beat Olive Garden house Italian, both at the restaurant and at home.
If I get salad at Chik-fil-A it's the Apple Cider Vinegarette.
Newman's Sweet Vidalia Onion is also one of my favs.

My last salad made with tuna packed olive olive oil and vinegar from the banana peppers, Plus whatever non-Ranch is in the fridge

I hate dressing but we do have a local Japanese place that makes killer ginger dressing. Man is it good. I don’t know what’s in it but it’s amazing it’s the only dressing I’ll eat.

Blue Cheese for me. Ken's specifically.

I buy it by the gallon from local restaurant supply for around $18.00. Then I fill up smaller jars with it and tighten them up good for refrigeration so I don't have to work out of the gallon bottle.

I did not see anyone else mention "Mayfair" salad dressing. I think this may be something that is regional on even local with history based here in STL. This is creamy lighter dressing that is made with Anchovy paste. If mixed correctly it is really good but has a really short shelf life. I know what you thinking.....Anchovies.....yuck......but this has a taste that is far from what you think in that regard.

Here is a little history to the origin. I am curious how many of you have ever had it. Please reply if you have.

My wife makes Good Season’s. I was surprised that’s still around, seems like a 1970’s thing…

Used to like Thousand Island, will have on occasion. Caesar is good, I like getting that for a salad if I eat out, think I like it best.

But when I take salad to work I usually eat sans dressing, just makes too much mess IMO. One less thing to deal with.
