+1. People who cannot express themselves without expletives or foul language should learn to speak English properly.

Bam......No more traffic jam, well for those of us right ahead of him.....What a mess.
All in the stupid attempt to get there 28.3 seconds ahead of the next guy. I dont get it. I love speed and fast cars, but theres a time and a place.

I may seem immature by saying this, but maybe if a few got killed the rest might drive better? I'm not advocating this, but its an idea.
I should add that I when I was young I was one that probably should have been killed! I was a maniac, but never attempted to impose my will on other drivers; I just wanted to go as fast as I could all the time.
I know a guy that was keeping one of his 1911 .45's in his truck. Without pointing it at someone, sometimes he'd just show it to the other driver to convey his point...He quit carrying it for the same reason - afraid he would use it.
It is amazing the stuff that happens on local highways. I've driven in many areas and it seems to be terrible here. Part of that is the lack of roads in this area. Atlanta during rush hour is scary, but at least they have (Usually) enough road for the traffic volume. Seriously, several times I've been there in the fast lane doing 105 and had to move over because I was going too slow. Of the 5 or 6 lanes, the slow lane was going maybe 45, so you could pick where you needed to be. Here everyone is forced to go as slow as the jerk at the front of the line.
I know a couple of guys that take glee in doing 45 - 50 in the fast lane making everybody slow down. They like to get beside a slow truck and form a rolling road block. If somebody gets close? SLAM on the brakes! I keep telling them they are going to get shot one day....

Some times good things happen...
Was driving across Pennsylvania on 80 to visit my parents in New Jersey back when the speed limit was 55 there.
It was dark so all I could see was headlights behind me.
Was passing a truck, my speed about 63, when somebody flies up behind me getting within about two inches from my bumper and flashing their headlights.
I don't speed up. I don't slow down. I just proceed to pass the truck and move back into the right lane like nobody was there.
As soon as I get into the right lane the car behind me floors it and takes off. Then the good part happens.
The car behind the car behind me turns on their nice blue flashing lights and pulls over our fledgling road racer.
This made me very happy.

Not the point, point is protection, sorry you're unable to grasp the intent. Need to correct your mindset.

X10 In Iowa, even "showing" a firearm in such a mannner is considered "Intent Of Deadly Force". I am usually able to get "satisfaction" from such dumb drivers as mentioned in this thread during morning "rush-time" here by simply having them drive by, doing something dumb, and then glancing at my State Of Iowa Uniform (Which closely resembles our HWY Patrol) and they then get this "Oh, OOPS" look on their face, I dont have to do a "thing" but drive home from work. I also have a totaly "stock-marked" Panther Platform car, which many mistake for either A DOT vehicle, or an unmarked LEO unit. It is sad with the amount if immaturity on our highways, but it is funny when the said immature person "catches themselves" wondering "Who" they may have just done that dumb thing to..

I would further guess that not many, since as in this case, "He" the poster is the only-one bothered, (and hence not "consulted") by a mod's rightful and normal action taken on saying, or attempting to say a bad-word.

OK, I'm a posting addict this morning, but anyway, bottom-line, this IS Helen's site, which She allows us to make use-of via Her permission and rules. I work daily in an enviornment which I would put-up against ANYONE's that contains more profanity, and poor language that you can even imagine. In my past 22 years of marriage, and my past 2 years of a new relationship, both Women would honestly tell you that they have never heard me swear, or make off-color comments, unless (rarely) required too to quote another party. I write without doing it, I speak without doing it, and I think every member here has the right to expect that of others, plus It Is The Rules. There are other ways to convey opinions and sentiments. Ok, "Off Rant"
