Can't say I blame you one bit. Even though I have a Mercury, I'm also a GM fan, especially with the Chevys and Olds. I wouldn't be surprised if the people giving you a hard time get booted off the site at least temporarily. There's no need for garbage like that here.

Blasphemy!!! a Chevy engine in a Ford!!!. That being said I really like Chevy engines for hot rod purposes. I have had them in my boats because they are easy to work with, every decent machine shop has them down to a science and the parts are plentiful.
