Also- there is a monster/very significant flag in one of the pictures that may talk more about the seller than anything he posted in the advertisement.

Wonder if anyone will catch it.
The automatic transmission, the guy's shirt, or the Holden badges, or the fake hood vents?

My gut is he is a unlicensed car dealer, working from his driveway. I could be wrong, but the answers to the questions I asked matched what unlicensed car dealers state to deceive.

The key is if the title is in the seller's name, I speculate the title is not. I have been wrong in the past, and could be wrong now.

Report him to the Arizona DMV

I do believe some of these folks dont understand the market or what type of abuse a 6l80E will take in a car with the DOD delete.
Really incredibly stout if you keep fresh fluid in it and have it tuned well. I'm probably at the ragged edge, but for as gently as I drive the car usually it's been phenomenal. I'm sure you're aware but rebuilders have pretty much figured out the 6L80 and it's actually a pretty good transmission. I know the V got the 6L90, it would have been great if they just put that thing in the SS. But again, to your point the 80 is a good transmission.

In the cars...lol

I suspect he is a top shelf con man, and he knows his target buyer, and it isn't me. He likely will not show the SS to an educated buyer.
You at least know the game. I hear countless stories, some here, about how a potential buyer finds some really hidden defect that affects a car's value and hopes to "inform" the seller of this defect and get a good deal on a car. Nope! Best they can do is avoid the problem. The seller only needs to find one butt for the seat, and it's not yours or mine.

1. No way is that worth 30,000. 10,000 to 15,000? Maybe if everything were there and the car was a manual.
2. G8s and SSs hold there value. Find a clean low mile SS (under 50,000 miles) for under $40,000 go buy it now,
Just make sure there is nothing wrong with it. You are getting a Camaro and sometimes a Corvette from the same year cheaper.

I follow the market because having the Caprice I watch all the Holden stuff. Not saying they should be worth what they sell for but
they hold their value.

SSs for sale.

I wonder if it locked up from oil starvation or the blower was lifting the heads and he was getting coolant into the oil.

I would say $8,500-$10,000.

Tough to lift a head with a Maggie 2300, Especially with head studs.

What is that emblem on the front? Is that supposed to be a Chevy?
