What's the longest you have run an oil filter?

Also a note for us Canuks north of the border.
90% of the filters we have access to are Fram QS and motomaster.
These cardboard end caps make it hard to go for long intervals.

I have gone two oil changes on the orange can, but even then I feel like I am pushing it .

A few years ago I bought some ST filters in Ogdensburg, those were great, I let those stay on for 3 OCI's, .

16,000 miles w/ Fleetguard LF3487 in Jeep 4.0. See UOA forum. Delvac 1 thickened out of grade but wear metals were fine.

When I was a ford/lincoln dealership mechanic in 1979 we had a 70 Lincoln come in with a smoked motor with 42000 miles on it. I opened the hood and there was the original blue factory oil filter which weighed about 10 lbs and the motor had the original factory oil in it which was like tar. It was owned by a 75 year old lady that didnt know it had to be changed. We ended up putting a factory rebulit in it

After getting an oil extractor, I am less comcerned about filter changes...on other people's cars. The only way I'll reuse a filter is if it's removed and the old oil drained. Now that I can get ST filtrs for $2, that practice might end as well. Yeah, other people's cars usually the flter is too tight and if I am not 100% going to be the NEXT person to change it (I can install it moderately hand-tight, like on my own cars) I skip it, fill them with fresh oil and bye-bye. Just did a 4-Runner w/ Delo...extract it, fill it...I did them a solid.
