Redline, Brad Penn, VR1, Schaeffer Micron Moly, Amsoil Z-Rod proves themselves long ago, and continue to do so today in the rooms where engines are torn down and examined piece by piece, and on the courses where these engines ran and survived.
There is no cheating us, or pulling the wool over our eyes where these lubes are concerned. If they don't actually deliver what they're supposed to, everyone will know in short order.
That's how post-redcap Mobil 1 15w50 got its current lackluster reputation. It didn't come from Blackstone or OAI. It came from the tracks and the engine rooms.
