With spring in a few more months, I'm starting to think about motorcycles. Thought I'd make my wish list of motorcycles:

If I could only have one bike (my preference is on the "sport" end of the sport-touring models):
1. BMW K1200S (almost bought one last year)
2. New Kawasaki ZX Concourse
3. Triumph Sprint ST 1050i
4. Yamaha FJR1300 (This is more on the touring end, but it makes the list because of its family heritage with my previous trusty '87 FJ1200)

If I could throw in a second bike:
1. KTM 950 Adventure
2. Suzuki V-Strom (Litre + displacement)
3. BMW GS (Litre + displacement)

And for a cheap 3rd Bike (for track days), any 3 or 4 year old japanese 600 in the sub $5k range. No real preference.

What does everyone else's "Dream Bike Garage" look like?

The new Ducati 1098 is up 20 hp and 10 lbs/ft, down 29 lbs & costs $3K less than the 999 it replaces... It truly is a beauty.

Are you not glad you didn't just buy a 2006 999 for $17,995?

Actually, my Valkyrie Interstate and my ZX-11D are already in my "dream garage", which is really more of a nightmare. Maybe I'll clean it when it gets a little warmer?

Cheers!

Always loved the ZX-11D. It was a perfect replacement for my FJ1200 being an updated and refined version of the same class of bike. It's a true classic. It was a strong contender when I bought my Sprint ST, but I just couldn't find a nice one with low miles...and opted for something a little newer. I'd probably buy one if a good one popped up.

The aforementioned Ducati 1098 would be nice, along with a Monster S4Rs. There's an older 1965 Monza 250 nearby I've been thinking about for the last month or so but can't bring myself to spend the money...

One or two of the V4 Honda sportbikes, RC45, RC30, NC30, NC35 etc.

One of the 4-cylinder 250's screamers, à la ZXR250 with an 18K rpm redline.

This list could go on forever...

If they ever get off the ground again, I like to have an Indian Chief one day.
