I'm allowed to get a bit defensive on here and know the court is no place for it. But when the incident starts getting rewritten by outsiders (especially AandPDan, his previous post is laughable and is possibly just trolling me!) and judged from afar as though I was driving with my head in the clouds...sorry, not taking it.
You have put forth a decent and thought provoking post without trying to put your spin on the "why" and I thank you for that.
From what I've read on the net, I'll probably take the class instead of risking the courts since they've heard just about every story in the book and won't really consider mine even though I think I have a good case.

I'm not a troll. I'm trying to show you what it looks like to someone from the outside that reads "in between" your statements.

Neither of them should have pulled out, but they did. It all really boils down to if you had vehicle under control NOT I was in the right and they shouldn't have done that.

Get the anger out now, on me if you want. If you do decide to go to court instead of the class you'll be better off.

Exactly. I had to do traffic court once. The sloppiness and general demeanor of most of the folks there (many of whom didnt even speak english) meant that anyone dressed halfway neatly and speaking/explaining what happened clearly could get through.

Some will call it bias, but frankly I was appalled at how horrid my fellow courtgoers looked and presented themselves for court, so let them get the book thrown at them. If they cant even talk clearly and without using expletives to define what they did (yes, saw that more than once), then Im not going to try to help them.

Put together a good, compelling story, well written and well explained, and youve done all that you can.
