What would you do with a used Grumman LLV?

Scrap out that giant aluminum body! I’d say that’s what will happen to most of them.

We had the maintenance/repair contract fir the local Post Office at one point and I’d say USPS is the number one reason Jasper is still around.

Many years ago I used to drive one of those doing auto parts deliveries around Western Mass. It had a VW diesel engine swapped into it and 3 spd auto. Kinda fun to drive (especially with the doors open) but 0-60=never lol.
If I had one today I would use it for dump runs and as a "dog car".

Heck, my '81 Rabbit diesel with a 4 speed manual had a 0-60 measured with a calendar. Cannot imagine putting even more mass and frontal area against that engine bolted to an automatic.

I knew someone who had maybe a 1980 Rabbit diesel, but I think his was a 5-speed. That thing was loud, and he eventually gave it up because he was getting ringing in his ears driving it to work. He also lived on a steep hill and that thing had to go into 1st gear to get up. VW diesels have gotten quieter though. I borrowed a friend's Jetta TDI once and it was actually quite reasonable.

Still not as bad as the time I saw a stalled Chevy Sprint on that same steep hill. It apparently couldn't restart for some reason.
