What work just as good as Right Stuff Gasket Maker?

I need a good sealant for a 22r oil pan. The one that they recommend, is Right Stuff Gasket Maker. Is there anything just as good that's in the auto parts stores? I think you have to order this one.

Our local NAPA stocks it...not sure if they all do.

The Permatex Grey should work just as well. I've used both with good success.

I use Threebond, it’s also called Yamabond and Hondabond and is available at motorcycle stores.

Honda Ultra Flange II sealant is the equivalent to Great Stuff gasket maker. Both are excellent and is what Honda recommends for oil pans now. I've used both in the past and they work well in this application.

The one that they recommend, is Right Stuff Gasket Maker.

Recommended because of the quick cure time. Desired in a shop setting but the RTV that takes a full 24 hours to cure is going to be stronger.

I’d use Ultra Grey or Ultra Black. My auto parts stores sell the Right Stuff but it is more expensive than the RTV I believe and not as fun to use.
