I was gonna put that in my tank with 15 gallon but I'm not going to unless if u guy said Amsoil is great stuff.

From everything I have read on this board and everything I have heard in person it is great stuff.

Whats your make and model? Are you seeing any issues with it?

Amsoil PI is good, I happen to like the RL better, but either is fine. I've seen the RL in Pep Boys, grabbed mine on Amazon.com. Either product should do a good job cleaning.

2004 Nissan maxima. I haven't used it yet but wanna see how is working for u?

The stuff is a top notch product that was developed in cooperation with Lubrizol. I use it about every 10k in the wife's jeep. She does mostly longer mileage so the effects of injector/combustion chamber deposits are more protracted.

I have heard it is good stuff, used it once, didn't see any changes or improvements in the vehicle I used it in.

I use top tier gas once system is cleaned I think that's all that's needed. I think these fuel cleaners one time treatment is to weak even tried Gumout nothing. Reason is I tried using Chemtool B-12 one can mixed with 2 gallons gas. Did some good cleaning and had excellent results but this is with a carb system small engines. I need to try Amsoil PI same mixture to be fair...Gumout the same.

Also on piston soaking Chemtool B-12 did some good cleaning. Couple of pure shots and over night soak mixed with 10wt oil. 3 tbl spoon B-12 one tablespoon 10wt oil. Never saw any results with LC as I suspect LC needs to be heated...LC did nothing at least MMO got surface stuff but B-12 is strong stuff.

What were you expecting it to do? What problem were you expecting it to solve or was it a maintenace type dose? How do you know it didn't do anything or are you saying that it didn't do anything that you could detect? What "detectors" did you use?

claimed x% better gas mileage.....i DID not see that. <---main reason for trying it. I think its self explanatory how i detected that

calvin,

I thought that it claimed up to x% better mpg? Anyway, it's not self explanatory how you detected "that". How many tanks did you run the test? Did you fill at the same pump every time with the same octane rating? How similar are your trips over each test? Which vehicle? How did the product affect engine wear, if any?

I just put another bottle of PI on my Fiance's 97 Camry. $8.85 tax included.

Put in a bottle about 8 months ago and her gas mileage and power skyrocketed. She still talks about it!
