What type of tool fits this fastener?

Is this not a Fastenmaster spider drive? Available at HD if so
Didn't try HD.

HD is directly across the street from HR. Figured if HR didn't have it--- HD wouldn't have it....... maybe figured wrong...

Double Robertson. Single one will work. My cargo trailer sides exterior panel screws were backing out as the miles piled on. I used the single bit to remove them and Loctite'ed them and reinstalled them. No more issues.

Funny, some of the Amazon tool listing for this fastener state for trailer trim.

I never knew trailer trim had a specialized fastener.

Hasty update.

Received the packages with the tools-- or so I thought.

Wife brought me the AMZN package- in the package two jars of cat food. Confirmed what I ordered and validated the tracking number.

To return the cat food and get what I ordered, I have to bring the cat food to two different locations. One location just drop off the cat food, the other location I need to print a label and package the cat food.

We keep a few assorted old Amazon boxes for returns, and one of those tape machines. We have a home printer. I walk into the UPS store and just drop the returns on the counter and leave.

Man, the times of Amazon providing good customer service are long gone. Used to be they'd have let you keep that (because most people know at least one cat person) and just shipped you the right thing again as fast a possible.

That is so random. Who would mistake cat food for tools?
Beats me.

Bigger issue, since the two products I purchased were from different vendors, I have to drop one container of cat food at Staples, the other container at Walgreens.

Amazon processes really didn’t allow me to properly communicate I received cat food. I did put it in a comment section, but I am concerned when the company receives the cat food, they will say they didn’t receive what was expected.

At least a robertson fits those. For some odd reason Subaru chose to use a 5 point torx on a small screw that contains the preload spring on the steering rack of the Outback? I read that these are anti theft torx, so I don't see why this would be used on a random small screw?
Anyways, for a few dollars I now have a set of them...

Yeah you didn't select the correct option. I know they're confining but some choices will let you print a label at home and sometimes even schedule a UPS pickup.

I'm not saying you're dumb -- their process is not intuitive. It's kind of like, "Are you still beating your wife?"

I have about 85 measurable projects to finish by the end of June. And then I turn into a pumpkin.
Currently, I am focusing on projects with large pieces, so I can free up space the large pieces are stored in, and reduce damage to pieces while stored.

Running to Staples and Walgreens to to label, package and drop off cat food I didn’t buy, kind of ruins my big task momentum.

You can get a #2 Robertson anywhere. That's all I've ever used in about 30 years of enclosed trailer ownership. You really don't need to wait for a shipped tool.
