Going down to vist family in Florida Dec. 19th-27th.
Anything interesting going on? Cant be with the family all the time

Any rock concerts or any other special events goin on maybe?

I am fairly certain that his shop is closed. In 2006 , he killed a motorcyclist while driving drunk in his Dodge Ram (irony?). Billy Lane was charged with manslaughter and is now in jail. There is another bike builder shop there the last time I passed by.

If you have kids, they may like the Brevard Zoo; off exit 191 in North Melbourne. There is also Andretti Thrill Park which is a small amusement park with go karts and other stuff. I haven't been there in probably 10 years.

Three things:

1) Universal Studios!!

2) MGM!!

3) The ORIGINAL Disney!

Head to Orlando.

EDIT: Tune in to 102.9 when you cross GA line. There might be a concert. I never listen to when, but they have some. Cool station. Its out of a College or something.

Yeah, I was going to mention Orlando, but it's about 45min-1hr away from Melbourne. It would be worth going to Islands of Adventure if you like roller coasters. There's a reason locals call Melbourne, "Melboring".

Sebastian just to the south has that Mel Fisher museum, he's the one that found the treasure there and off the Keys. Eat at Captain Hiram's on the water for some great seafood while you're there, my wife and I stay in the area every year. It is quiet but we like quiet vacations.

Add "Cape Canaveral" to the list. Watched a shuttle takeoff from there.. from a BOAT!
