What Synt. Has the Highest Moly Content

I know this is an old thread. Why not just add a can of liqui-moly? Especially if you have a circumstance you are dealing with. Like my Ford 4.6, I have a slow head gasket leak that is dumping some coolant into the motor oil, the liqui-moly has kept it going for the last 25000. Increase oil change intervals have helped too. I'm wondering if there's an oil that's good for combating the sodium content. I know some of you were going to say just replace the head gasket, to be honest I would rather buy another vehicle first

Moly is great stuff but the idea that more is better is a fallacy. At some point the law of diminishing returns kicks in.

I thought tons o moly in oil sounded great until I read that high concentrations of it were often found in turbo deposits...then I decided that whatever amount the oil maker thought was enough was fine with me.

Most, likely all, oil blenders have changed their
formulas over the last 10 years so that the moly content
is reduced significantly.
Though i would suspect that boutique oils
would be the ones with higher moly content.

What Synthetic 5w-20 & 5w30 has the highest moly content Im thinking of going to syn. in my new civic and I want a high moly oil. I am running exxon superflo 5w-20 right now but I would go to a 5w30 syn. if i could find a high moly content oil.

Valvoline Syn now has 300ppm.
