I aquired and posted the HT/HS of the 10/30 Supersyn oil to correct a earlier post where someone had it at 3.0
The neat thing about the Supersyn oils is they can be custom blended to a users liking to gain some VI for say summer use per Mobil Engineers.

mine is I do not like the 0/40 SS oil and would prefer and will use some 15/50 added to the 10/30 I am using this coming summer. In a motor that is not revved up and or will not see extended drains the 229 spec is meaningless to me.
FWIW the Schaeffers 10/30 Supreme blend has a HT/HS of 3.5 and the 15w40 blend is in the 4's and has cold weather performance of a 10W
