Point well taken. I have used Amsoil for example for many years and trust it, so their product for me is a no brainer. As far as modifying my vehicle, it is my hobby and makes me happy so that works for me too.
rossn2.... I agree. These trucks have done awsome with the use of 15W40 and 5W40 oils. Why anyone would want to change from what has been proven to work very well is beyond me. Here in Texas my cummins is going to see a steady diet of 15W40 and mobil 1 filters.
