What oil for 04 Frontier

Well after reading all this about M1 possibly switching to group 3, Im not sure I want to continue using there product.

This truck has had M1 since 11k ,and currently has 36k on it.

I think im going to go with Amsoil.
Ive read here that nissans like thicker oils.

Im trying to decide if I want Amsoil ASL 5w30 or the heavy duty diesel 5w30.

Im considering the HDD 5W30 becasue it is a little thicker being 11.5cst at 100c vs the 10.6cst for the ASL 5w30.

This is the 4cyl with timing chain.
This truck is driven maybe 350 miles a month and sits during the week.

Used mostly on weekends.
Currently running Mobil 1 Extended Performance 10w30 with 4k intervals.

What would you guys use?

Would also consider double checking on Redline. Would not worry either way. The regular Amsoil would be fine. You could also look for GC which is supposed to be almost a 40 from what I have read around here lately.

Redline has always impressed me.

GC 0w30 is also very good, but I feel that Redline is better.

I will have to look at Elf, Lubro-Moly, and Amsoil with fresh enthusiasm.

But I have yet to find an oil as good as Redline.

While I'm sure that Mobil 1 will keep making some outstanding oils...I am completely disillushioned when it comes to Mobil 1.
