What mileage to use Auto-Rx?

I have decided to use 5w-20 Exxon Superflo and Havoline Synthetic 5w30 ($1/quart)in my Honda Element. I use LC @ 3 ounces at change and 1 ounce every 1.5K. OCI @ 4-5K miles. I add 1 ounce VSOT @ change and 1 ounce every 1.5K miles.
I drive 12-15K miles per year which is evenly split city and highway. I currently have 17K miles on the vehicle and drive moderately. I plan to use FP @ 2 ounces/10 gallons.

My feeling is that this engine is pretty easy on oil. I have seen analysis of this oil in Honda
and Focus engines which have been pretty impressive. (Low wear and OCI from 5-9K miles.)

I have ordered Auto-RX. I am looking for an appropriate mileage to do an Auto-RX treatment given the regiment I described.

Anybody will tell you, just do the 2oz/OC maintenance dose for the life of the engine and that thing will probably run forever! The ARX and LC/FP combo is deadly to ANY and ALL bad things that can accumulate in your engine. Good luck.

PS: Don't forget to use a good oil filter like a Purolator, Wix, K&N, or Amsoil.

From what I have read from other members on the board Auto-Rx and FP are not to be used at the same time. Doesn't FP inhibit Aoto-RX's ability to liquify carbon, varnish and other surface coatings on internals? If so, my question still remains as to when to use Auto-Rxalone without FP added.

I currently have a stash of the Super Tech filters. They are the pre-clicker and encore design. I figure they are OK for 4-5K OCI. I will probably switch to a Donaldson in the future.

Some body has it reversed Auto-Rx will remove these type products as contaminants. It never is a good idea to mix chemistries.

Frank,it must be my misperception. At what mileage would you suggest I use your product? My thought was at about 30K, given the regiment I described.

Unless you know your engine has sludge I would use the maintenance program 3oz of Auto-Rx at every oil change good luck.

auto-rx and FP shouldn't bump heads.

However, auto-rx and LC will.

IMHO you probably don't need the ARX ( gasp!) The LC does a great job of keeping the engine clean ..and getting a dirty one clean ..as your was never diry .. I suspect it will never get there either.
But if you feel you must use it I would wait until the 50000 mile mark .

BTW I am a firm beiliever in ARX I have purchased 6 bottles ovet ther last few years ..I just believ you are keeping the engine clean with the LC ( which I use too!)

I should have constructed my post more carefully. I meant to type LC and Auto-Rx not being used in conjunction.

I intend to use LC and FP with dino at 4-5K OCI. My question is at what mileage should I consider Auto-Rx in a vehicle that is easy on oil?
