Have this weed on my lawn, how do I eliminate it. I reseeded last fall so not sure if that will affect my course of action

I have had better luck using a combination of both 2-4D (the old Ortho Weed-B-Gon formulation) and Triclopyr (Ortho Brush-B-Gon). It's a tough weed to successfully get rid of and in my experience it takes several treatments with the 2 herbicides a few weeks apart.

Be careful not to spray this on bushes as the Tricolpyr can cause damage or death to bushes.

As noted it is hairy bittercress. It is not deep rooted and so pretty easy to pull right out in one piece especially if the soil is moist at all. I'm not opposed to chemicals especially on things that don't come up easily and/or break apart.

Tenacity isn't labelled for it. Most of the ones listed here include 2,4-D and some other stuff. Of readily available things (ie go to Home Depot and buy it ready to use) the Ortho Weed B Gon will do the trick. If you want to get nuts you're talking getting concentrates and mixing your own, which can be more economical on a volume basis but you may end up with a bunch of stuff in your garage...
