What is your go to shave soap/cream?

With the recent thread about cost of shaving in mind, what goes on your face?
I use Williams, Creamo but my favorite is Polished dual cleanse and shave by Dr Lancer. It is 4 times the price of Creamo in a smaaler size tube but it is an outstanding shave for me. I only use it once or so a week due to cost.
I would never have known about it if my wife had not bought it for me.

Usually this. Find it in the spare bathroom. Smells fruity but works on my mug. Don't shave often, ladies never know any is missing.

I have Cremo but not a huge fan of it. Need to use my beaver brush to get it to lather up. Have some Philosophy my wife gave me that is very nice but expensive. My go to is Lidl shaving foam cream.

I've switched to dry shaving some time back, but when I was wet shaving, I used this:

This stuff is terrific for shaving. It's all I've used for years. Discovered it by accident as I was using it for acne.

For canned stuff, I was using Noxzema regular, then I went to Gillette Foamy Regular as the two stores I shop weren't carrying the Noxzema anymore. Wife said the Gillette smells too strong, so she gave me some Giovanni Mild cream in a tube. Its a bit thick and gummy and it clogs up my BIC triple blade or my Daisy women's double blade.

I will say that the stubby beard prep with a warm soap wash followed by dripping hot towel really help the most - where you could use bar soap in a pinch.

I hear you. I don't like hair on my neck or chin so that is shaved every day to maintain my stache and muttons.
