What is Your Favorite Brand Of Salsa?

I used to really like La Victoria Salsa Ranchera but I haven't seen it in a while, though it may still be available locally. I just bought a bottle of Pace Hot Chunky Salsa and it's pretty tasty IMO and it's good mixed 50/50 with Rojo's Pico de Gallo.

Try Mrs. Renfro's habanero salsa. I've tasted a lot of salsas and this one is by far my favorite. I usually don't eat it on chips, as it's a little too potent, but in a burrito or quesadilla, it's awesome.
It's a good balance of flavor and heat, and not so sweet like a lot of the popular jarred salsas.

Haha I cain't believe I would ask people what their favorite brand of salsa is when they all are mostly terrible! I get homehade habanero salsa now from a guy at work. He and his wife make the best salsa. If they ever quit making it then I'm gonna make my own. Too bad he won't give me the recipe!

Well, long story short, Natalie's is going to get discontinued at the only store around here I can find it at, but they've restocked it for the time being. Even talked to the manager about it, no dice. I got 4 jars (all they had) at half price today. I have a salsa stash!

My replacement for the time being is Desert Pepper Trading Company's "Salsa Del Rio" (medium). The jar says: versatile - eclectic - temperate salsa of tomatillos, chiles, and peppers... which I think is a good way to describe it. The texture is a little less homogenous than the Natalie's one I like, but in a pleasant way, it's exceptionally tasty, and this brand seems to make good products in general. For anyone that likes the Tostitos kind of pre-made salsas, their "XXX Fire-Roasted Habanero" ("XXXtra hot") is quite good. I'm very much in the mood to make a batch of my own at this point; I usually make mine very chunky with lots of lime, cilantro, tomatoes (from the garden, but not yet), red onion, jalapeno and salt.

Ive found that Pace seems to be the best of the jarred salsas, and any salsa in a jar needs to be cooled down before eating it for me to like it.

If Im not making it myself, I try to get one of the brands of "thinner" salsa, fresh salsa that is sold near the dairy and cheese sections in the supermarket. There are many varieties, and these taste really good, IMO.

You wouldn't believe it! The grocery store has (apparently) restocked my favorite salsa! I picked up the only jar they had Sunday evening. What luck! On the other hand, I was headed down the aisle of one of my other favorites here about a week or so ago and spotted it there as well. Don't remember seeing it there before (I'm pretty sure I looked), but I'm glad they carry it now.

for salsa buy a food processer and make your own. No fresher and better taste. Grilling chicken, makeing homemade flour tortillas, freshly made salsa and drinking a few beers and eating outside on my deck makes me very happy! I do it often every summer. For hot sauce I prefer tapatio but thats just me.

There's a Mexican restaurant here called Senior Manuels.

I'm telling you guys, if you had their salsa, you'd start drinking the stuff by the quart. Whenever I go there, I buy a half gallon. I can go through that in a few days.

It's a traditional habenero style Mexican salsa - not a chunky pico or salsa fresca style - just bright red and liquidy.

It's got that nice creeper heat to it, and by the time you're done having some, it's right at the perfect heat point where your eyes are watering, you're breathing heavy, but you can not stop eating the stuff!
