Looking to put up a fence like this and wondering what this is called. Also what kind of stores would I want to check, as I have not found any locally.

Invisible Fence? Popular with dog owners in my area.

They have a website...I fenced my yard in with 5 ft chain link fence to keep my dogs corralled. That type of fencing isn't for privacy, but it seems to give the impression of more openness. On the other hand, my neighbor chose to use the white plastic type of fencing. It gives the look of a prison yard to me. But even tho our properties are the same size, his seems smaller or more confined I guess.,,

Split rail fence. Most home supply stores sell it. Menards, Home Depot, etc.
Color matters:
White - you focus on the fence
Black - you don't notice the fence as much and look beyond it.
Most people don't want black privacy fence. However, there are many brown/neutral options for composites and cedar still looks great.
If privacy isn't a concern I like black iron.
I was thinking of chain-link fencing.
For a solid 'vinyl' fence .... you're right .... a neutral color would be preferred.
That wood is more square. I have never seen that style before.
The home improvement stores here sell the round style. I put some up at my place.
Cheapest I found was Home depot.
None of the local fence places deal with this style. They only do chain link or vinal.
