What is this hose fitting?

Trying to find an elbow fitting that mates with this. It's a hydraulic hose that goes on a 1947 Lincoln power window pump. Is it NPT?

That looks like inverted flare (male threads on the tube side, like brake lines have). The nut spins on the tube, right?

Many thanks! Long story, but the elbow that came with the hose left with the pump that was to be rebuilt. The pump became a core. Oops.

The threads on flare fittings are typically standard bolt sizes, but that is not how they catalog the fittings. They are specified by the OD of the tube (before flaring).

Imagine that in a 2026 model of any vehicle. Hydraulic power windows. Bet they would outlast an electric motor power window any day !

Revisiting this, I have found out I needed a 1/2" x 20 inverted flare on both ends. Now here's the rub. I found a Parker store nearby and they were able to make a new hose that has those fittings on both ends. I had hoped they had a 90 degree fitting, but no dice. Looking on Summit Racing and Advance Auto I found 1/2" x 20 elbow fittings that go to a hose barb, but it seems those are intended for low pressure fuel line fittings and explicitly state that 60 PSI is the max. I had Parker make the hose a few inches longer than I needed, but I'd like to find a 90 degree elbow. That seems to be a hard thing to find though, all the elbow fittings I'm finding on Parker's site or on McMaster-Carr convert to other types of fittings, but I just want to turn 90 degrees.

I looked and couldn't find it either. You could take a small block of brass and drill and tap it to make you're own adapter with 2 fittings depending on how well equipped your shop is. I know they sell 1/2 x 20 inverted flare to npt. Take a small block of brass, drill 2 holes that intersect in the middle and run an npt tap thru each hole. Screw in the fittings and you would have your adapter. Just a thought if you really need that 90 degree fitting.
