I always thought green coolant was just regular ethylene glycol antifreeze?
What is HT-12 green coolant vs just regular green?

Using the link provided by @CharBaby, HT 12 is a Silicate OAT AF (organic acid technology). Otoh, Original Green AF is older IAT Inorganic Acid Technology. Completely different type AFs. And another example of AF color/tint being an unreliable indicator of AF chemistry/type. They both are Ethylene Glycol based though. Silicate OAT common for Euro vehicles.

So does it matter if you mix the two?
Mixing and Si OAT AF with an Original Green IAT AF, 'personally' I wouldn't do that.

My kubota manual says ethylene glycol. So my guess is just get regular green antifreeze? They have 50/50 from oriellys for $10.99/gal. So just don't use OAT type I presume?

Majority AFs are ethylene glycol based, including the two you initially queried. I'm not familiar with what Kubota specs. I'll link to a thread discussing Kubota AF though I'm not sure it's much help. Looking at the recommendations there, if not using Kubota, I might just choose Peak Global Lifetime concentrate mixed to 50% and be done with it. And it too is ethylene glycol based. Kubota AF seems to be a mystery AF. Wish I could give a more definite answer, but again just not much specific info available.

I saw that, but I dont know what that stuff means. Here's what he found about the maker of the Kubota coolant:
Kubota coolant/antifreeze is manufactured by CCI manufacturing in Lemont, IL. The Safety Data Sheet lists the components as follows:
Ethylene Glycol 85-94%
Diethylene Glycol Less than 5%
Hydrated inorganic acid, organic acid salts less than 7%
Water less than 5%
The appearance is listed as "Clear, slightly viscous, yellowish green dyed liquid
I don't think that you need to be concerned, about the make, in as much as Kubota doesn't make it (no surprise there) and it's clear until they dye it. Just pay attention to the components.
I saw it, unfortunately the SDS isn't comprehensive for total AF analysis. Need more information than it gives, not much help. If it listed the attributes like for instance, no silicates, no nitrites, no amines etc. that would tell much more. So beyond my last post not much more I can add here.

So can you basically use any type of coolant just as long as a proper flush is done first? What if I switched everything to zerex G05? The boat has green coolant, that's a 350 sbc basically, the side by side and tractor also have regular green coolant. I always thought green coolant was a thing of the past until I bought all these things that apparently come from the factory with green coolant. Probably just a money savings thing. Not sure why automobiles are so fussy with coolant types. They have all colors of the rainbow
