What happened to the 'All' pages button? It was there a few days ago, is it coming back? Is this the right forum to post this in?
What happened to the 'All' pages button?

Something is different about the board software. If you click on a title, it takes you to page 1. If there are multiple pages, you can select which one. There was an option to display everything in a thread from the first to last entry - labeled "all". That's gone now. The only way to access that was from the main thread page, as there was no option to select it from inside the thread. So a long thread discovered on a search couldn't be changed to display the entire thread unless you knew how to manipulate the URL (there was a trick for that).
I'm also noticing odd things, like the number of pages changes depending on whether I'm logged in or not. The way the URL is displayed is different too. It used to display something like "page=2" or "page=all". I could change the page number to "all" and get the entire thread. Now all that's displayed is the thread number and perhaps page number. For instance, this is this current thread:

If there was a second page, it would display like this:

There was a software update a few days ago, I tried to load BITOG but UBB software was updating, 10 seconds later it loaded fine.

This has always been the case. If you're not logged in, the number of posts per page is set to the forum default. Once you log in, the forum displays the number of posts per page that you have chosen in your preferences, and if that's different from forum default, then the number of pages will change accordingly. If a topic has 30 posts and the forum default is 15 posts per page, then it'll have 2 pages. But if you set your preferences to show 30 posts per page, then it'll only have 1 page for that same topic.

Not only that, the last time that button was here, it didn't work correctly at all. The link was different than the first page link, but it would take you to ONLY the first page, and you'd still have to page through to get to the end. Good, this wasn't my imagination.

Go to your Preferences and change the "Total posts to show on one page when viewing a post in flat mode: (default is 15)" to 99. That should make most topics fit on one page, maybe 2.

Good suggestion .. I've been finding the lack of the "all" button really annoying since the update.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that misses the All link. I used it all the time and was annoyed that other forums that I frequent didn't have it.
I asked a mod about it not working lately and he suggested I notify an admin, but I never heard back. I think it's gone now.
